Material is fed along the chutes with feeding vibrators. Along these chutes material falls down uniformly and passes by the CCD cameras. CCD cameras detect color disorders, spots and any difference of colors on surface of the material and send order to electronic control unit (ECU) for separation. ECU activates the ejectors and ejectors blow the stone out to the hopper for unqualified stones. Qualified stones continue free falling.
Commonly the Color Sorter is used ta beneficiate calcite, barite, quartz, magnesite etc. of 3-20mm in mining industry.recycling industry is also used the glass, plastic and colourly metals are separated. |
